Day 1 : Arrival at Jalpaiguri and transfer to Jayanti

On arrival you will be transferred to Jayanti after completing the brief greeting process. Jayanti, the Queen of Dooars is a small village inside Buxa Tiger Reserve in the Alipurduar district of West Bengal. Cover 175 km of road distance within 5 hours to reach the resort at Jayanti. Freshen yourself up after checking into the resort. Spend the rest of the day by enjoying the scenic beauty of the village. Finally, after having a delicious dinner, overnight stay at Jayanti.

Day 2 : Buxa and Jayanti Sightseeing

After breakfast, go for a full day sightseeing in and around Jayanti. First, trek to the ancient ruins of Buxa Fort first where the great freedom fighters like Subhash Chandra Bose had been captivated by the British. Due to its high elevation, the fort offers a perfect vista of the surrounding. Next visit a tiny village named Rajabhatkhawa inside Buxa Tiger Reserve to see different kind of wild animals from Rajabhatkhawa Watchtower. Trek to Pokhri Hill and a sacred lake situated in the hilltop to see countless magur fishes and decade-old turtles. Your next visit will be at TGN Watchtower. From here you will get to see numerous wild animals like Bison, Rhino, Deer, etc. Solely dedicated to Lord Shiva, visit Mahakal Cave at the riverbank of Jayanti which is one of the sacred religious sites in Dooars. Back to the resort again after this successful excursion. After dinner, overnight stay at Jayanti.

Day 3 : Arrival At Lataguri and Jungle Safari

Wake up early and post breakfast, check out from the resort and then proceed to Lataguri, a small village covered with dense forest nestled beside Gorumara National Park. Cover approx.150 km of road distance to reach Lataguri after 4 hours. Check into your pre-booked resort to fresh yourself up. Take some rest and then proceed for a Jungle Safari at Lataguri Forest (Gorumara National park). However, Jungle Safari is subjected to the availability of the ticket (Jungle Safari remains close from 15th June to 15th September each year). Have a fascinating Safari cutting through the dense forest of Lataguri and Gorumara to witness its largest natural habitats of 50 species of mammals, 300 species of birds, 20 species of reptiles and 30 species of amphibians. Get back to the resort again and after dinner, overnight stay at Lataguri.

Day 4 : Jhallong - Bindu - Samsing - Suntalekhola Sightseeing

After breakfast, go for a sightseeing excursion to Jhallong, Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola. The first destination to visit is Samsing, a quaint village situated in the bank of river Murti. After relishing the beauty and the peaceful ambience of its tea gardens, proceed to Suntalekhola, an offbeat destination also known as the base for exploring Neora Valley National park. Next, you will be driven towards Jhalong, another pristine village located near Indo-Bhutan Border. The hydro Electricity project of River Jaldhaka is the major attraction here. Lastly, head towards Bindu to witness and enjoy the view of cardamom plantation, pristine nature, and river Jaldhaka. Back to the resort again and after dinner, overnight stay at Lataguri.

Day 5 : Depart For Jalpaiguri Junction

Check out from your resort and head towards New Jalpaiguri Junction via the breathtaking Coronation Bridge. If time permits, stop at the bridge to capture some selfie and relish the thrilling beauty of the shimmering Teesta flowing underneath. Finally, tour happily ends when you reach NJP.
